Fifty years ago, we began making leather bags, belts and billfolds in a small workshop where six craftspeople created each piece by hand. Our factory has grown quite a bit since then, but our commitment to quality hasn’t changed.

The items we sell are still handmade by skilled artisans who pride themselves on their dedication to detail.

Except for our water buffalo calfskin wallets and accessories, the leather we use is a full grain, glove-tanned cowhide-the same choice leather found in the best baseball gloves and riding saddles. Our private tanning formula renders this rugged leather supple, causing it to darken and soften with wear.

To our original designs we’ve added our Lightweight Collection, Scarves, Neckties and Briefcases. Each is handmade in the Coach® tradition—a tradition so widely honored, our products are considered American classics.

50年前、Coachは6人の職人が手作業でバッグやベルト、財布を製作する小さな工房から始まりました。

一部の特別な製品を除き、
Coachではフルグレインのグラブタンレザーを使用していました。
それは高品質な野球グローブや馬具にも使われる、
丈夫でしなやかなレザーです。

独自の鞣し製法によって、
革は使い込むほどに柔らかくなり、
色味を深めながら豊かな表情を育てていきます。

オリジナルデザインに加え、
Lightweight Collection やスカーフ、ネクタイ、ブリーフケースなども展開され、
それらはすべてCoachの伝統のもとで作られていました。

その伝統は広く評価され、
Coach製品は“American classics”として親しまれる存在となりました。
